Classes are suitable for beginners. You can start whenever you like.

– DAO FLOW YOGA for women –
Dao Flow is a healing form of Yoga that restores hormonal
balance and energy in all stages of a woman’s life.
Besides learning the traditional Hatha Yoga asanas (poses)
and breathing techniques, you will also learn how to engage
the meridians in your practise, as they are used in Chinese Medicine for centuries.
By focussing on these meridians you will restore and expand
your energy in a more impactful way than by just yoga alone,
so you will experience a maximum effect for your health.
Dao Flow Yoga is a therapeutic method for women’s health
that weaves together ancient eastern healing techniques
based on Daoist philosophy, Chinese medicine and Yoga.
We flow in sequences that incorporate the dynamism of Yang
and surrender us to the stillness of Yin.
Activating the potent healing energies of the acupuncture meridians
through yoga asana and pranayam, Doa Flow balances
the neuro-hormonal system and enlivens the endocrine glands.
The body and mind come together as a nourishing container
in which we purify, unwind and heal.
– Hatha / Vinyasa Flow –
Hatha Yoga is an ancient form of yoga, developed by and for monks
to support their meditation practise.
Hatha Yoga aims at creating balance in your body, with a strong inward focus.
You concentrate on your own body and breath.
The poses (asanas) stimulate a.o. blood circulation, the inner organs,
glands and nervous system.
We practise several poses, sometimes in a slower paced order,
sometimes we move faster (Vinyasa style). The breath is guiding the movement at all time.
The combination of effort and relaxation creates a certain level of energy and rest.
We start our classes with a relaxing breathing exercise (pranayama)
before we flow through a series of poses and
we end our practise with a deep relaxation.
Everybody gets the chance to train at their own level,
so beginners are always welcome to join.
