The health benefits of warm lemon water in the morning are huge! Water keeps the body hydrated and aids the removal of toxins. And lemon contains numerous essential nutrients, like calcium, magnesium, potassium, vitamin A, C and B-complex, pectin fiber, carbohydrates (source of energy) and proteins. It also has citric acid and powerful antibacterial, antiviral and immune-boosting properties.

Cut a lemon in halves (use one half or both), and squeeze its juice in a glass of lukewarm water. If you like you can add some raw honey for a sweeter taste.
